Ravenna

Inspired by the mosaics of Ravenna, this rug builds its pattern from hundreds of small hand-tufted tiles. Rectangles of misty sage, moss green, charcoal and sand overlap like architectural plans, with a warm rust and ochre centre that draws the eye. Fine lines between the tiles add depth, and the sculpted surface catches the light like glazed ceramic. The palette is earthy and grounded, so it works well with natural stone, dark wood and tactile textiles.
